From 3 to 10 October 2026, Chopard will serve as Official Timekeeper of the Tour de Corse Historique, one of the leading events in classic motorsport. Through this new partnership, the Maison reaffirms its deep-rooted connection to the world of motor racing and its commitment to preserving a heritage where technical excellence, passion and the pursuit of performance come together.
For several decades, Chopard has made its ties with motorsport a cornerstone of its identity, highlighting the parallels between the sophisticated engineering of classic cars and that of precision watchmaking. Today, this story continues on the iconic roads of the Isle of Beauty. The direct heir to the legendary Tour de Corse, long regarded as one of the most demanding rallies in the world, the Tour de Corse Historique brings together each year the finest period competition cars and crews united by a shared passion. Set against a spectacular backdrop of rugged mountains, hilltop villages and winding roads, the event combines sporting challenge with the celebration of an exceptional automotive heritage.

As a partner, Chopard will oversee the official timing of the competition and create all the trophies and timepieces awarded to the winners. The Maison will also support an edition featuring renowned crews, including its Ambassador Romain Dumas, one of the most accomplished French drivers of his generation, celebrated for his achievements in endurance racing as well as his successes in hill climbs and historic rallying.
To mark this partnership, Chopard is unveiling an exclusive timepiece produced in a limited series of 20 pieces and inspired by the world of motor racing: the Classic Chronograph Tour de Corse Historique 2026. Housed in a 42 mm microblasted DLC-treated Lucent Steel™ case, the watch stands out with its distinctly sporty and contemporary appearance. Its matte black dial perfectly matches the case colour. The Tour de Corse Historique logo appears at 12 o’clock, while red accents and details inspired by automotive dashboard instruments enhance its dynamic character. Visible through a specially engraved open caseback, its automatic chronograph movement, certified as a chronometer by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), ensures precision and reliability in the finest competitive spirit. The watch is fitted with a strap combining perforated black leather and rubber featuring a pattern inspired by DUNLOP racing tyres from the 1960s.
