This philosophy is reflected in the P7™ Corsa Classic line, the successor to the P7™ Corsa that made its mark in Groups 1, 2, 4, A, and B. Developed specifically for historic rallying, it combines styling cues inspired by the original P7™ Corsa with a modern structure and technical solutions designed to meet the requirements of these competitions. The sidewalls retain the profile of the vintage tires to preserve the identity of the vehicles for which they are intended. During the design process, Pirelli engineers also drew upon the setups of vintage vehicles to replicate the dynamics of their original suspensions. The result is built on three pillars: performance, style, and heritage.
To meet the demands of historic rallying, the P7™ Corsa Classic line offers various solutions tailored to road and weather conditions. In dry conditions, its asymmetric tread pattern is designed to enhance directional stability, grip, and high-speed stability. The rain version offers remarkable lateral stability and precision on wet or soggy roads. Finally, several rubber compounds allow the tire to adapt to temperature and road surface characteristics. The range is intended for many iconic historic rally models, including the Porsche 911, Lancia Stratos, Fiat 131 Abarth, Lancia Rally 037, Renault 5 Maxi Turbo, Audi Quattro, BMW M3 E30, Ford Sierra Cosworth, and Lancia Delta Integrale.
