For the first time in its history, the Tour de Corse Historique will set off from Calvi in 2025. Three days of festivities open to the public will precede the start of the rally.

For the first time since 2013, the 2025 edition of the Tour de Corse Historique will not start from Porto-Vecchio, as the work required to develop the port means that the village cannot be accommodated. Therefore, this year’s pre-race festivities will take place in Calvi, including two days of technical and administrative checks on Saturday, October 4th and Sunday, October 5th, as well as a test day and an opening evening on Monday, October 6th. The capital of the Balagne region and its 13th-century citadel will also host the rally’s finish on Saturday, October 11th. For the rest, patience is needed… The details of each special stage will be revealed in June.

Marie-Ange Dini, organiser : We would like to thank the city of Porto-Vecchio, its residents, and its shopkeepers for their dedication and enthusiasm in contributing to the success of the event over the past ten years. We regret having to temporarily end this chapter. Calvi will host the rally caravan, deploying all the necessary resources. The people of Calvi and Balagne will lend their energy and enthusiasm to make this event a true success. The local fervor, the friendly atmosphere, and the generosity of the people will make Calvi an unmissable place where sport and culture will blend harmoniously, in rhythm with the engines and the enthusiasts.
